  1. The Export File Format dialog box lets you specify these options:

  3. Export File Type:  Tab-delimited Text, Comma-
  4.     delimited Text, Mail Merge, or a selection of
  5.     electronic organizer types.
  6.  
  7. Export Field Name Header Line:  Include a mail-
  8.     merge header line containing the exported field
  9.     names.
  10.  
  11. Export Name Fields As One Field:  Combine the
  12.     Prefix, First Name, Last Name, and Suffix
  13.     fields.
  14.  
  15. Export Address Field As Two Separate Fields:
  16.     Divide the Address field at the first carriage
  17.     return and place the two parts into two
  18.     separate export file fields.
  19.  
  20. Export City, State, And Code Fields As One Field:
  21.     Combine the values in these three fields into one
  22.     export file field.
  23.  
  24. Phone Code Format:  Export the phone code as a
  25.     Single Letter Code, Short Name, or Long Name.

  27. Export Phone Code And Number As One Field:
  28.     Combine the values in these two fields into one
  29.     export file field.

  31. Convert Carriage Returns In Address And
  32.     Remarks Fields To:  Replace any carriage
  33.     returns with the character you type in.  The
  34.     default is the paragraph mark (¶).

  36. For electronic organizer formats, the fields are:
  37.  
  38. Line Width:  Adjust the line width for your
  39.     organizer screen.
  40.  
  41. Maximum Characters Per Entry:  Enter the
  42.     maximum number of characters your organizer
  43.     allows for each entry.  If you are not sure,
  44.     consult your organizer manual.

  46. Field Grouping:  Choose the order in which Address
  47.     Book Plus will export groups of fields.  It should
  48.     be the same order in which you normally enter
  49.     data in the organizer.

  51.     Address Book Plus assigns the following fields to
  52.     each group:

  54.      Name:  Prefix, First, Last, Suffix, Company
  55.  
  56.      Telephone:  the phone code and phone number
  57.      fields
  58.  
  59.      Address:  Address, City, State, Code, Country,
  60.      Job Title, Department, Remarks, Profession,
  61.      User Definable, Birthday, Category, Entry ID
  62.  
  63. Phone Code Format:  Select the way you want the
  64.     code exported:  Short Name, Long Name, or
  65.     Single Letter Code.
